Legal language

The English version below is the controlling policy version. Any translation or localized summary is provided for convenience only.

Reader summary
  • Seraph Global collects and uses only information reasonably needed to provide services, process payments, communicate about projects, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • Payment providers process card details; we do not intentionally store complete card numbers on our own servers.
  • You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal information.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to www.globalseraph.com, our service pages, payment pages, reports, communications, consultations, sourcing support, supplier screening, inspection coordination, project analysis, trip planning, and related service channels.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Seraph Global” is the public-facing brand. Unless the relevant order confirmation, invoice, payment record, or written agreement expressly identifies another entity, “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Seraph International (Hong Kong) Limited, the operator of www.globalseraph.com and the default contracting entity for online services. Seraph Global Inc. applies only where a separate written agreement expressly identifies it as the contracting entity.

By using our website or purchasing our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Who We Are

Seraph Global provides supply chain intelligence, sourcing decision support, supplier screening, China-related procurement advisory, inspection coordination, project feasibility analysis, sourcing trip planning, supplier communication support, and other related services for global buyers working with China’s manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem.

We are not a product marketplace, trading company, factory, reseller, or inventory holder. We provide judgment, analysis, coordination, verification, and execution support to help clients reduce sourcing uncertainty and make better decisions.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

You may provide information to us when you:

  • Contact us through the website, chat widget, email, forms, or social media;
  • Purchase a service;
  • Use the structured post-payment requirements form or provide requirements through an approved service channel;
  • Submit project requirements, product information, supplier information, photos, drawings, samples, links, specifications, budgets, timelines, or business objectives;
  • Request a quote, proposal, consultation, report, inspection, visit plan, supplier shortlist, or other service;
  • Communicate with our team about service delivery, support, disputes, revisions, or follow-up work.

This information may include:

  • Name, email address, phone number, company name, country, or region;
  • Billing information, service selection, and order details;
  • Product category, sourcing requirements, supplier information, quotations, or contact records;
  • Project documents and communication history;
  • Any other information you voluntarily submit.

3.2 Payment and Transaction Information

When you make a purchase, payment may be processed by a third-party payment provider such as Airwallex or another payment service provider. We may receive transaction confirmation, customer record information, billing details, service purchased, payment status, invoice-related information, and limited payment metadata.

We do not intentionally collect or store complete credit card numbers or full payment credential details on our own servers. Payment processing is handled by the relevant payment provider according to its own terms and privacy practices.

3.3 Website and Technical Information

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system;
  • Pages visited, referring source, date, and time of access;
  • Approximate location derived from technical data;
  • Cookie and similar technology data;
  • Website performance, error, and security logs.

3.4 Service Delivery Materials

Because our services often involve sourcing, supplier evaluation, factory verification, product feasibility, inspections, China travel planning, or project coordination, clients may provide business-related materials, including product descriptions, technical specifications, photos or videos, supplier information, purchase requirements, quality standards, certification requirements, target pricing, sample information, manufacturing background, or commercial expectations.

The website does not accept client file uploads. Supporting documents and other files should be sent separately to info@globalseraph.com; they are then handled through the approved email and service workflow.

4. Confidential and Sensitive Project Information

At the initial stage, we recommend that clients provide non-confidential summaries whenever possible. Please do not send confidential, proprietary, trade-secret, unreleased, legally sensitive, or highly regulated information unless it is necessary for the service and an appropriate confidentiality arrangement, NDA, NNN agreement, or other written agreement is in place.

If you provide project materials to us, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to share those materials with us;
  • The materials do not unlawfully infringe the rights of third parties;
  • We may use the materials to evaluate, quote, perform, manage, or deliver the requested service;
  • We may share relevant portions with team members, consultants, partners, inspectors, legal professionals, translators, suppliers, or service providers only where reasonably necessary for the requested service.

5. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website;
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
  • Process service orders and payments;
  • Create customer records and confirm purchases;
  • Start service delivery and understand your sourcing, procurement, inspection, feasibility, or advisory needs;
  • Prepare reports, supplier lists, inspection notes, feasibility analysis, trip plans, background checks, or other deliverables;
  • Communicate with you about project requirements, progress, revisions, risks, or next steps;
  • Coordinate with internal team members, consultants, inspectors, translators, legal partners, logistics partners, or other service providers;
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or misuse of our website;
  • Maintain business, tax, accounting, legal, and compliance records;
  • Improve our service structure, website content, customer experience, and internal processes;
  • Send service-related emails, notices, updates, or administrative messages;
  • Send marketing or educational content only where the required consent or other lawful basis exists and an appropriate opt-out channel is provided.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on your location and the nature of the interaction, we may process personal information based on one or more of the following grounds:

  • Your consent;
  • Performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract;
  • Our legitimate business interests, such as providing services, improving operations, protecting against fraud, and communicating with clients;
  • Compliance with legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations;
  • Protection of our rights, property, users, clients, partners, or business operations.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with the following categories of recipients where reasonably necessary:

7.1 Internal Team Members

We may share information with employees, contractors, consultants, or team members involved in client communication, research, service delivery, report preparation, operations, finance, or support.

7.2 Service Providers

We may use third-party providers for website hosting, email communication, payment processing, customer support, analytics, cloud storage, document preparation, translation, scheduling, security monitoring, accounting, or administrative operations. Current website workflows include Airwallex for payment processing, SaleSmartly for the embedded initial chat and lead handoff, and Zoho Mail SMTP for transactional and service-related email delivery. These providers may process relevant information under their own terms and privacy policies.

7.3 Project-Related Partners

Depending on the service scope, we may share relevant information with factory visit personnel, inspection partners, sourcing support partners, sample handling or forwarding partners, translators or interpreters, legal professionals or legal referral partners, compliance and certification support providers, logistics or travel support providers, or potential suppliers when supplier communication or outreach is part of the approved service scope.

7.4 Legal and Compliance Recipients

We may disclose information where necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or lawful requests; protect our rights, property, or safety; prevent fraud, abuse, illegal activity, or security risks; enforce our Terms of Service or service agreements; or resolve disputes or claims.

7.5 Business Transfers

If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.

8. International Data Transfers

We serve international clients and work with China-related supply chain resources. Your information may be accessed, stored, processed, or transferred across different countries or regions, including but not limited to the country where you are located, Hong Kong, mainland China, the United States, and other locations where our team members, partners, payment processors, hosting providers, or service providers operate.

By using our website or services, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence. We take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies, pixels, tags, log files, and similar technologies to:

  • Enable core website functionality;
  • Maintain security;
  • Remember preferences;
  • Understand website traffic;
  • Improve user experience;
  • Analyze page performance;
  • Support marketing or content effectiveness.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality or user experience.

The website may use a first-party, anonymous event layer to understand aggregate page visits and content or service interactions. It may record a page path, language, event type, and random browser/session identifiers that are one-way hashed before storage. It is designed not to collect raw IP addresses, browser fingerprints, names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, bearer links, or requirement-brief content as analytics data. Anonymous analytics events are currently configured for retention for up to 180 days. You can disable this layer in your browser by running window.seraphAnalytics.disable() in the browser console; enabling it again uses window.seraphAnalytics.enable(). No Google Analytics 4 integration is required for this local reporting.

Anonymous analytics preference

You can disable or re-enable anonymous site analytics for this browser at any time.

10. Email Communications

We may send you order confirmations, payment-related notices, a secure link to the structured post-payment requirements form, project updates, deliverables, support responses, administrative notices, and occasional service or educational updates. The requirements form is the primary method for collecting the brief needed to start a standard service; you do not need to reply to a payment-success email unless our team specifically asks for clarification. Supporting files must be sent separately to info@globalseraph.com rather than uploaded through the website.

You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails by following unsubscribe instructions where available or by contacting us at info@globalseraph.com. Service-related or transaction-related emails may still be sent when necessary.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide services;
  • Manage customer relationships;
  • Complete reports or deliverables;
  • Maintain accounting, tax, payment, and business records;
  • Resolve disputes;
  • Enforce agreements;
  • Comply with legal obligations;
  • Protect our legitimate business interests.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, archive, or securely retain it as required by law or internal recordkeeping needs.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no website, email system, payment system, cloud platform, or internet transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for sending information through appropriate channels and avoiding unnecessary disclosure of sensitive or confidential materials.

13. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of certain information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Request a copy of certain information;
  • Opt out of marketing communications;
  • File a complaint with a data protection authority.

To make a request, contact us at info@globalseraph.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

14. California, EU, UK, and Other Regional Privacy Rights

If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific privacy laws, such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with applicable data protection rights, we will handle applicable requests in accordance with relevant legal requirements.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that term. If future website tools, analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies create additional opt-out rights under applicable law, we will provide required notices or mechanisms where applicable.

15. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for business users, entrepreneurs, buyers, companies, and adults seeking supply chain, sourcing, inspection, or advisory support. They are not directed to children under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at info@globalseraph.com.

16. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party websites, social media platforms, payment processors, founder content platforms, partner websites, or other external resources.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, policies, or security of third-party websites. You should review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we may update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
